Following up on our Fall Film Series on World Religions which ended with the film on Muhammad, this evening we will have the opportunity to hear about the beliefs and practices of Islam first-hand from a practicing American Muslim in an interactive, relaxed atmosphere. Along with the basics of the religion, topics regarding who the Muslims are (around the world and in the U.S.), their concept of God, their beliefs and daily practices will all be included in the presentation along with time for questions and answers.

Facilitator: Khalid Mozaffar is an electrical engineer who lives in Orland Park with his wife and three children. He is the Associate Principal at the American Islamic Association Sunday School in Frankfort and is Co-founder of the local Southwest Interfaith Team.
