John O’Donohue, wrote “A Blessing for One Who is Exhausted”.  If you are or have been a “Caregiver” you may relate to his compelling words.  “When the rhythm of the heart becomes hectic, time takes on the strain until it breaks; Then all the unattended stress falls in on the mind like an endless, increasing weight…Take refuge in your senses, open up to all the small miracles you rushed through.”  Caregivers are truly blessed, a fact that is easy to forget in the midst of all it means to truly care for someone.  Spend this morning receiving care.  Share your story, learn from others, gather resources, breathe, and just be. Fee:  $20

Facilitator:  Mary Lou Nugent is the Director of the Port.  She has facilitated programs for both corporate and academic groups around the country.  She has an M.A. Ed. from the University of Illinois and has attended several sessions on adult learning and development at Harvard University.
