During this morning session, you will be introduced to T’ai Chi Ch’uan, commonly known as Tai Chi, a Chinese exercise system that is said to relax the mind, strengthen the body, and purify the spirit. Becoming acquainted with its early roots and the historical links between meditation and exercise will lead to some awareness of how it is practiced in modern times to improve chronic conditions and boost overall health. There will also be time to do a few movements of T’ai Chi Ch”uan and try a short form of Tai Chi for specific health conditions.
Fee: $20
