“But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 Taking up one’s cross is required for all who follow Jesus Christ. We are to walk in his footsteps following his lead carrying our own crosses. How do we walk in hope while doing this? This Holy Week, come reflect on the way of the cross that ultimately ends not in death but in the glory of resurrection and new life. We will explore what it means to choose to follow Jesus’ way and how Hope is central to that choice in very real ways.
