It’s when we go on—through the darkness—despite the fact that quitting would be more satisfying, that we get a glimpse of the journey Jesus made and the message he was bent on leaving us. In the midst of empty tombs and new life breaking through hard ground we will envision together some of the qualities needed for the long haul of faithfulness and come to see the power of Resurrection as it is meant to be lived day by day in our personal lives and in the world around us.
